How to Decorate Your New Living Room

Our design specialist, Haley Winchester, says to start with a basic color and go from there. “You should try to pick a color that fits the mood you want your space to have. Blue is a great color for a relaxing atmosphere,” Haley recommends. “Colors like white and gray pair really well with most shades of blue. Then, you can add an extra pop of color, like gold, with throw pillows and wall art to really tie the whole space together.” Great advice, Haley! Starting a design this way can eliminate all the unnecessary stress that often comes with decorating a new home. It also allows plenty of room for personality and individuality in each space, especially when you create a design centered around some of your favorite colors!
