Weekly Business Goals (1175 total words)
Week 1
This week, our main Weekly Business Goal is to finish the house on Lot 14 in Chadwick Estates. The final walkthrough will be on Thursday, July 1st, and we will close the following morning. First and foremost, the house must be move-in-ready. Laborers and craftspeople, please make sure to clean up your workspace when you are finished. This will make the cleaning company’s job much easier. Design team, please make sure the finishing touches are in place by Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. Ideally, Tuesday afternoon and all of Wednesday will be reserved for cleaning, but this also gives us some wiggle room. Hopefully there are none, but any hiccups or bumps in the road can be dealt with during this extra bit of time. The McKnight family is very excited to move in, and we want to keep it that way! Secondly, we need to finish painting the houses on lots 15 and 16 for their closings next week. Painters, please contact Jennifer as soon as you are done so she can then hang doors and keep things progressing. These houses are all coming along beautifully, and we want to continue with the incredible work our team has done so far. Great job, everyone. Let’s tackle this week with confidence! (211 words)
Week 2
This week, our Weekly Business Goal is to finish the houses on lots 15 and 16 in Chadwick Estates, and then start the houses on lots 5 and 6 in Palmetto. On Monday afternoon in Chadwick, lot 15 is scheduled to be cleaned and prepared for the final walkthrough on Tuesday morning for the Wednesday closing date. Lot 16 will be cleaned on Wednesday, and the final walkthrough is scheduled for Thursday morning. Closing is on Friday. In Palmetto, lots 5 and 6 are scheduled to have the foundations poured on Monday morning, so let’s make sure we have the plans set in the boxes on those lots. Our main focus is finishing 15 and 16, so let’s put our energy into creating the best possible version of this house for the Olson family. Last week, the McKnight family was very happy with the way their home came out. Keep up the good work, everyone! One last thing to remember this week: cabinets will be installed in 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 in Chadwick. Flooring will be scheduled immediately after that, so make sure we stay on schedule with this. Great job, everyone. Let’s get to work! (198 words)
Week 3
This week, we have a few Weekly Business Goals to keep in mind. Firstly, the house on lot 17 is scheduled to be cleaned on Tuesday, with the final walkthrough on Wednesday, and the closing on Thursday. Getting the Hutto family moved in on time is our top priority this week, so let’s make it happen. Secondly, we will be clearing more land in Palmetto to set up more lots, which is very exciting. This neighborhood has been very popular lately, thanks to the hard work done in Chadwick. Many of our lots have already sold without even having a house on it yet! This is great news! Moving on, another goal we need to keep in mind this week is framing on lots 2 and 3 in Palmetto. Getting the frames up for these houses means we can put a roof on. That way, we can really progress with the development of this community. We are running a little behind with production in Palmetto, but we have confidence that we can pick up the slack and get things moving. And last but certainly not least, our final Weekly Business Goal is to order all the lights for lots 10, 11, and 12. We need to have these ready for installation in two weeks, and with COVID, shipping is uncertain and unreliable, so we need to give ourselves ample time to get those ordered and delivered in time. We have full confidence in our team this week, and we have no doubt that everyone will have no problem reaching and exceeding our goals this week. As always, keep up the good work! (272 words)
Week 4
This week, our main Weekly Business Goal is different from the previous weeks. This week, our office in Crawfordville will be finished with renovations, and our design team will get to decorate it and ensure that we are up and running! This office means a lot to the Crawfordville community, and it will allow us to meet face-to-face with potential clients. We are so excited to announce the opening of our office, so let’s make sure to get it done as soon as possible! Design team, please feel free to furnish and decorate your new office space however you like (as long as we still keep things clean and professional). Remember, this office space will be the first impression of our company for many new and potential clients, so we really want it to look as perfect as ever. We are making great progress on both Chadwick and Palmetto, but there is still much to be done. In Chadwick, we are closing on lot 18 on Friday. Cleaning is scheduled for Wednesday, immediately after the painters finish touching up. The final walkthrough is bright and early Thursday morning, and that will tell us whether the closing will be Friday morning or afternoon. Let’s stay focused and motivated this week, team! Keep up the great work. (215 words)
Week 5
Happy Monday, Southern Coastal Homes family! It’s time to discuss this week’s Business Goals. For our Chadwick Estates development, we will be closing on lot 19 on Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, we do not have an extra day between cleaning and the final walkthrough, so we have to ensure that this house is ready to go by Monday afternoon. It is scheduled to be cleaned on Monday afternoon, with the final walkthrough and closing scheduled for the same time on Tuesday. During (or preferably, before) the cleaning time, the design team should double-check to see if any last-minute updates need to be made. That way, we can use what little time we have wisely. Like all our other homes, this one needs to live up to the Southern Coastal Homes standard that we are known for. In Tapestry Park, there will be an open house for our newly finished home on Friday afternoon, with catering and drinks. Everyone from our staff is invited and encouraged to come! This home is one of our best yet, and the realtors at Century 21 believe it will sell very quickly. Panama City building and design team, you did a wonderful job with this house. It looks absolutely stunning, and we received a lot of positive feedback from the pictures posted on Facebook and Instagram. Keep up the great work! Lastly, for Palmetto, let’s keep moving things along with production. Plumbing and electricity are scheduled to be installed in lots 14 and 15 on Tuesday and Wednesday, which is certain to get the ball rolling even more. That’s all for this week, everyone! (268 words)
