Summer Activities in Crawfordville and Wakulla
For those of you living in our Crawfordville neighborhoods, did you know Wakulla County has tons of fun activities to offer this summer? Wakulla is growing rapidly, and Southern Coastal Homes is so excited to bring more people to this beautiful city! There are so many ways to enjoy it this summer. One fun activity many native Floridians partake in during the summer is scalloping. All along the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, people dive into the water with a mask and snorkel to look for scallops! It’s one of our favorite ways to beat the Florida heat. Another fun thing to do in Wakulla is to take a lighthouse tour! The peaceful Saint Marks beach is only a fifteen to twenty-minute drive from our neighborhoods, and they offer lighthouse tours every month! During one of these tours, you can view the coastline and learn all about your new hometown’s rich history. On top of that, there are miles and miles of scenic trails for hiking and biking, with campsites and state parks all along the way. Make sure you bring your camera to take pictures of all the wildlife you are sure to see! But if it’s too hot for hiking and biking, you can always head to the Wildwood Golf Course for a competitive round of eighteen holes. The course’s layout is mixed with sand traps and ponds, which is sure to make for an exciting and challenging game! Our neighborhoods are in the heart of Wakulla County, and our homeowners are surrounded by so many wonderful activities to enjoy. We listed some of our favorites, but there truly is something for everyone here in Wakulla County!
